To facilitate child contact sessions at our contact centre and in the local community when required.

Supervising sessions between a child/ren and a parent/s who does not reside with them, and providing detailed regular and consistent reports which will be used in court proceedings.

We are seeking candidates who are willing to be flexible as this role is demand driven due to family needs.

You will support parents or carers whose contact sessions are supervised and provide a safe and child focused session.

You will be part of a committed and supportive team of Contact Supervisors working directly with vulnerable and disadvantaged children, and young people to ensure their safety and welfare is maintained during a session.

Requirements

Will need a good knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety, good report writing skills, be able to communicate clearly, using positive and encouraging language. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Being mindful of child protection concerns and health and safety issues.

You will receive regular supervision and access to training to enhance your skill set and development.
